- ➤ A historic study from 1933 (among the first to test mine waste effects) found that water in the Coeur d’Alene River killed fish and plankton, prompting researchers to focus on dangerous pollution along riverbanks. - ➤ Shoshone Medical Center named Shane Sanborn as its new CEO earlier this month.
