Students from Coeur d’Alene and Lake City high schools hosted the All for Awl drive Friday in LCHS commons, collecting blankets, clothes, hygiene products & food for nonprofits including NIC food pantry, Union Gospel Mission Women’s Recovery Center and St. Vincent de Paul.
This revived event supports post-pandemic community aid.

North Idaho College holds a special board meeting at 6 p.m. tonight in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room (Student Union Building) to decide if it will keep its accreditation after a show-cause sanction, while accreditors noted significant progress in October.

Coeur d'Alene Regional Realtors reported that in January Kootenai County’s median price for single-family homes reached $562,000—its highest in over three years—with 667 active listings and 143 sales, slightly down from last year.
Shoshone County saw its median price jump 27% based on six sales.
