- ➤ Dawn Best of Best Life Photography launches Pooch Playoffs, a photo contest fundraiser for Companions Animal Center featuring 16 local dogs and prizes from pet businesses. - ➤ Lakeland High School senior Amanda Olson is serving as an Idaho Senate page in Boise, assisting the Commerce and Human Resources Committee during Tuesday and Thursday meetings as part of the program that began Jan. 12 (she also experienced a friendly greeting from Gov. - ➤ Kootenai Health will host its free Heart to Heart health screening event on Friday, Feb. 20 at Hyatt Place Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls from 7:30 to 10 a.m.; registered guests must fast 8-12 hours for a 15-minute screening that checks (blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, and glucose) and serves breakfast afterward.
