- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game shot three wolves from a helicopter last weekend in Unit 4 of the Panhandle elk zone to reduce predation and improve elk survival as part of its wildlife management plan. - ➤ State officials report planned budget cuts may reduce funding for mental health courts serving our community. A review is underway — officials say the changes could limit support services for those in need. KXLY

- ➤ The Coeur d’Alene Design Review Commission approved a new five-story, 173-room Hilton Dual Brand Hotel design near Lee Court and Appleway Avenue yesterday.
