- ➤ The 3rd Avenue Marketplace is working to boost funding for programs that serve vulnerable community members in Post Falls. The effort supports a Backpack Program that discreetly provides food for more than 250 students + senior programs offering hot lunches and bingo prizes. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Inlander Restaurant Week kicks off tonight with over 100 restaurants offering three-course meals from $25 to $45. The local initiative supports hospitality workers with matched donations (STCU will match all contributions) and runs through March 7. KXLY

- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game shot three wolves from a helicopter last weekend in Unit 4 of the Panhandle elk zone to reduce predation and improve elk survival as part of its wildlife management plan. - ➤ Crews will begin the final construction season on Monday to replace two I-90 bridges over the Coeur d’Alene River near Cataldo; lane reductions on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. will guide traffic until the project is completed by the end of 2026. KHQ
- ➤ State officials report planned budget cuts may reduce funding for mental health courts serving our community. A review is underway — officials say the changes could limit support services for those in need. KXLY

- ➤ The Coeur d’Alene Design Review Commission approved a new five-story, 173-room Hilton Dual Brand Hotel design near Lee Court and Appleway Avenue yesterday.
