  • Local builders, remodelers and landscapers kick off the Home and Garden Show today at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds from noon to 6 p.m. — the event will continue Saturday and Sunday with exhibits and a Junk Wars challenge for high school and technical students.  Coeur d'Alene Press
  • Volunteers from Ramsey Magnet School, STEM Charter Academy and youth groups helped break records at this year's Families Feeding Families drive, collecting over 7,800 pounds of food and raising nearly $12,000. ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Early Thursday at 1 a.m., a windstorm in Post Falls sent trees crashing down across neighborhoods, with one tree hitting a home on Lugo Court and prompting first responders to rescue a neighbor’s son (who only suffered bumps, bruises, and scratches).  Coeur d'Alene Press

  • Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy’s student-led production of 'Newsies' opens tonight at 7 with doors at 6:30 — the musical runs through March 21 and features student choreography, set design, and a pit orchestra.  Coeur d'Alene Press

  • The Kootenai County Fairgrounds celebrated last year’s Farm to Table program, which drew nearly 2,600 participants and received a $2,500 donation from Kootenai Electric Cooperative to support agriculture education at local elementary schools.
