  • The Idaho Transportation Department will hold a volunteer litter cleanup along U.S. 95 between Athol and Coeur d'Alene on March 25; volunteers will receive safety gear and a brief orientation before working until 4 p.m.  Coeur d'Alene Press

  • Abby Fremouw’s third graders applied math by baking doughnuts on Monday at Sorensen Magnet School of the Arts and Humanities; a $904 grant from the EXCEL Foundation funded the hands-on project (students mixed and measured ingredients to learn fractions in a practical way).  Coeur d'Alene Press
  • On Wednesday night, dozens attended NIC’s Women at Work event at Parker Technical Education Center (Rathdrum) where local professionals and Post Falls Police Department representatives explained certificate programs and job paths in technical education.  Coeur d'Alene Press
  • Students from Post Falls High School are set to represent Idaho at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore in April.
