John and Tish Deus from Coeur d’Alene donated $500 to help buy new gear for Norton—the KCSO police dog—after meeting him at the North Idaho Fair, and they plan to make the donation an annual gift.

This support will assist Norton, a key part of local patrol efforts, in getting the equipment he needs.

Dale Wilson from Post Falls was inducted into the OCS Hall of Fame for Lifelong Service today for his military service and veteran advocacy.

The Lookout Pass Free Ski School has taught over 38,000 kids since 1942 in a nine-week program running from January to March.

Deputies are investigating a theft of a large amount of lumber from a housing development construction site on North Bunchberry Street in Hayden that occurred between April 11 and 15—suspects likely used a truck with a trailer—and ask anyone with information to come forward.
