- ➤ On Friday, the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club awarded $46,000 in community grants to 20 local groups to support projects in education, youth enrichment and housing at the Hagadone Event Center. - ➤ Storms knocked out power for nearly 20,000 customers across North Idaho and the Spokane area — utility crews are working to assess outages and restore service. KHQ
- ➤ Northern Lights Electric said more than 5,000 customers stayed without power Friday after a storm on Thursday damaged lines from Sandpoint to Bonners Ferry — crews from local companies are working to clear trees and repair outages, with service expected to be restored within one to two days.
