- ➤ In Coeur d’Alene, several hundred to thousands attended Saturday’s 'No Kings' protest along U.S. 95—young people spoke out against what they see as rising authoritarianism and local issues while over one hundred counter-protestors gathered on the opposite side in military-style gear. Around 2,000 athletes will compete in a 1.2-mile swim starting and finishing at City Beach, a 56-mile bike ride at City Park and a 13.1-mile run through Sanders Beach and along the North Idaho Centennial Trail.
