Post Falls parade organizers are asking local groups including community organizations, military, sports teams, dance schools and businesses to sign up by July 3 for the parade set for Saturday, July 12 that will run along Seltice Way between Frederick Street and Idaho Road.
The parade is part of the Post Falls Festival from July 11 to 13—organizers want more participants to join the long-standing local tradition.
Lost Creek Bridge reopened today with one lane available after repairs—drivers are advised to use caution until further improvements are made.
Idaho's Department of Health and Welfare will receive its largest budget increase to expand preventive services aimed at keeping families together and reducing the number of children entering foster care, and it will hire 63 new workers—35 as prevention specialists with 10 in North Idaho.
Local health officials say teen e-cigarette use is down+they will keep running prevention programs to help maintain the decrease.
