The Women’s Gift Alliance awarded $135,000 to seven local nonprofits during a Grant Awards Ceremony at Lake City Center, with grants ranging from $30,000 for much-needed food service upgrades to $5,000 for tailored support (the program has granted $1.6 million since its start).
Charles 'Chuck' Riffel, a 93-year-old Korean War veteran from Hayden, will be honored as Military Hero of the Year during Coeur d’Alene’s Fourth of July American Heroes Parade — marking recognition for his dedicated service and community leadership.

Chandra Tesone has been promoted to Vice President and Loan Servicing Manager at Mountain West Bank (Coeur d’Alene headquarters).
