Boaters on Lake Pend Oreille are warned to look for floating debris after a break at the Clark Fork Drift Yard was reported Friday—Bonner County Sheriff's Office has sent a crew to inspect the water this holiday weekend.
🚨 Crime
Firefighters fully contained a 23-acre wildfire on Canfield Mountain in Coeur d'Alene that was allegedly set on Sunday by Wess Roley to ambush crews, killing two and injuring one—crews continue to keep the area closed as they investigate the incident.

Kootenai County Fire and Rescue honored Battalion Chief Frank Harwood with a memorial tribute on Friday at its Post Falls headquarters by staging his command vehicle as a memorial and inviting community members to leave notes and flowers (or mementos) in his memory.
