- ➤ Saturday's Post Falls parade will begin at 10 a.m. with a solemn tribute that features riderless horses and legacy fire equipment honoring fallen firefighters—John Morrison, Frank Harwood—and injured firefighter Dave Tysdal after an ambush on Canfield Mountain. The procession will move from North Frederick Street along Seltice Way to Idaho Road and is part of the Post Falls Festival running Friday to Sunday—featuring community entries and performances. - ➤ Today in Coeur d’Alene, more than 150 bagpipers and drummers gathered to honor fallen firefighters John Morrison and Frank Hartwood, who were shot while responding to a brush fire on Canfield Mountain — Morrison’s funeral procession begins at English Funeral Home today and Hartwood’s is set for Friday.
