- ➤ Army veteran LeRoy Bolle and five other veterans were honored Friday at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls with quilts of valor from the Patriotic Piecers—each recipient expressing pride and gratitude for the support shown for their service. - ➤ A 9 year old boy named Thaddeus was injured in a crash on June 29th—while riding his new scooter received for his birthday—and the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office later delivered him a new scooter and helmet—both he and his mom were thankful. KXLY
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Eighty-one students in the Coeur d’Alene School District earned at least one perfect score on tough AP exams this spring, up from 64 last year, with tests taken in 16 subjects like calculus, chemistry, world history and English. - ➤ Harvard Kennedy School announced a new full scholarship program that will let at least 50 Idaho public servants and military veterans enroll next fall in a one-year master's degree in public administration.
