- ➤ No-Li Brewhouse hosted a Fight Fire With Beer fundraiser on Friday and Saturday at East Trent Avenue to support families of fallen firefighters from the Coeur d'Alene ambush. Nearly all of the 500 $15 event bundles sold — DJ Exodus played live music in Bier Hall — with all proceeds going to the Red and Blue Foundation. KXLY
- ➤ After a recent shooting left Idaho firefighter Dave Tysdal seriously injured, the community and his colleagues rallied to launch the Tysdal Strong apparel line with designs by firefighter Matt Glen that feature Engine 3 (his unit) and symbols representing unity from Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene while all proceeds go to the Red & Blue Foundation to support his family and others. - ➤ A teenage girl was injured while tubing on the Spokane River near Ross Point Bible Camp on Wednesday afternoon + a boat operator moved a boat too close, and she was struck by a propeller causing serious but not life-threatening injuries to her leg and abdomen. KXLY
- ➤ An 18-year-old died when his SUV rolled on US 95 between Hayden and Athol early Saturday morning—police blocked the highway for up to three hours as they investigated the crash. KXLY
- ➤ Early Saturday morning, neighbors in Bayview rescued people trapped in a burning home — firefighters later put out the blaze while the injured residents were taken to the hospital in critical condition. KXLY

- ➤ On June 29, a fire set with harmful intent claimed the lives of two brave firefighters on Canfield Mountain and left another injured while the community united with donations and support to honor their memory. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department warns that fake texts claiming to be from the DMV are tricking people into paying for false tickets—these messages threaten to suspend licenses and should be reported and blocked.
