Jordan Redman and his family via social media and was sentenced by First District Judge Casey Simmons to five years of strict probation—he must wear a GPS monitor, complete 250 hours of community service, and attend therapy while following rules that ban social media use and weapon ownership. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The University of Idaho received City Council approval today to sublease the first floor of the south wing of Harbor Center in Post Falls to the Coeur d’Alene Tribe so that tribal government services are more accessible—this sublease runs from Aug. 1 to June 30 and follows the space’s previous use by Lewis Clark State College. - ➤ 12-year-old Colton Tirri from Rathdrum qualified as one of 42 national riders to compete at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.—the world’s largest amateur motocross race taking place from Sunday until Aug. 2.
