- ➤ Young entrepreneurs will host lemonade stands Saturday in Kootenai County at locations including Lemon Squeeze (3801 N. Player Drive), JL Lemonade (4045 N. Government Way) and MNM Lemonade Squad (2818 N. Government Way). Some kids plan to donate part of their sales to local groups such as the Red and Blue Foundation and Make-A-Wish Idaho to learn business skills and support the community. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ The Coeur d'Alene Fire Department said firefighter Dave Tysdal, who was shot in an ambush near Canfield Mountain last month, is set for his fourth surgery at a Colorado rehab hospital—Idaho senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch have introduced a bill to make assaulting first responders a federal crime after the attacker killed two other firefighters.
