ENVIRONMENT NEWS

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City officials met Tuesday night with about 30 local residents to discuss the case of Jinny and Lloyd Wayne Dorsey, who live in an RV after tearing down their doublewide on a county island and now face a permit issue over joining Post Falls to access the sewer system—officials and the family are working to find a solution that keeps annexation optional.  Coeur d'Alene Press

HEALTH NEWS

  • Idaho health officials detected measles virus in wastewater from Coeur d’Alene (sampled on July 29), which suggests someone in the area was likely infected though officials are unsure if the person was local or traveling.
