- ➤ An investigation continues into the bathroom fire at Chase Fields Sports Complex that burned on March 31 and left the structure a total loss—officials have several suspects and plan to rebuild next spring using $200,000 from rollover funds—and a temporary mobile stall is on site until the restrooms are replaced. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Several ITD construction projects in north Idaho are delayed by a heavy equipment operators strike that began on Aug. 12 due to rejected contract offers in eastern Washington—ITD crews are coordinating with contractors and local maintenance teams to keep traffic moving safely as work on projects like the I-90 interchange, I-90 widening, and Highway 54 reconstruction faces schedule shifts.
