ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality extended its Air Quality Advisory through Sunday for Kootenai, Shoshone, Bonner, Benewah, and Boundary counties as wildfire smoke is causing high PM2.5 levels that may affect sensitive groups. The Kootenai Tribe and Coeur d’Alene Tribe have enacted bans on open burning on their reservations—steps that may continue if the advisory is extended next week. Coeur d'Alene Press
