- ➤ Idaho State Police extended the deadline for trooper academy applications to October 17th—this change comes because there are not enough troopers in the Coeur d’Alene and Lewiston districts. The academy will begin in January. KXLY
- ➤ Post Falls will begin its routine water chlorination after October 6 to keep chlorine levels above .25ppm for 30 days as pumping demands drop with fall weather — the city advises residents with concerns to consult their doctor. KXLY
