- ➤ Bestowing the Basics, a nonprofit that has helped rural communities for years, opened its first brick-and-mortar resource center on Tuesday morning in Athol — offering supplies like shampoo, soap, and food without income checks and marking a new chapter after years of pop-up events. - ➤ Local Eagles auxiliaries donated 140 phone chargers—each engraved with a tribute to BC Harwood and BC Morrison—to support first responders across Kootenai County.
