- ➤ The steamer Boneta—after a 1905 collision and repair—resumed its daily freight and passenger runs on the St. Joe until a 1908 fire damaged its hull and led to its conversion into a dance barge. It was later used as a floating lodge by the Knights of Pythias and remains a notable part of local maritime history. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Levity Theatre announced it will lower ticket prices effective November 1; adult tickets will drop from $16 to $10 and child tickets from $11 to $5, and discount coupons will be available for those facing financial hardship — the theatre will hold its first improvised comedy show at 7 p.m. at the Unity Center for Spiritual Growth. - ➤ Idaho Fish and Game is offering the 2025 Lake Pend Oreille Angler Science Program—inviting local anglers to record catch data to help sustain the trophy trout fishery while earning prizes like a custom lure and sticker. Participants can log data during the derby from Oct. 29 until Nov. 2 or pick up a free logbook at the Pandhandle Regional Office, and completed logbooks must be submitted by Dec. 10 to enter the raffle.
