- ➤ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced plans to build a new temple at the corner of Hanley Avenue and Coeur Terre Boulevard in Coeur d’Alene. The single-story structure will cover 29,630 square feet on a 10.91-acre site—tours will be offered at a public open house when construction is complete. KHQ
- ➤ Coeur d'Alene resident Mica Riendeau, known as Silver Belle, will begin her seventh season on the Journey to the North Pole Cruises on Lake Coeur d'Alene Saturday + she is reviving a long-held family tradition of spreading Christmas cheer. Her children's book, Silver Belle and the Christmas Cookie Caper, which offers interactive elements for elementary kids, was published Oct 4 + it will soon be available at the Well-Read Moose.
