80-year-old Gladys, a regular at the Kroc Center, got help paying off debts and moving from her car into Orchard Ridge Assisted Living after Press Christmas for All provided a two-week motel stay.

Steve Casey, a long-time educator noted for his compassion and leadership, died Wednesday at 78 after battling dementia.
He served as teacher, administrator, and mentor in our local schools, leaving a lasting legacy that inspires students and staff (a reminder to celebrate every life).

The EPA has proposed changes to the Clean Water Act to limit federal protection to wetlands with a continuous surface connection to larger waters – a revision that could affect North Idaho wetlands, and public comments on the proposal are accepted until Jan.
