- ➤ The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene is asking for local donations to close a $150,000 gap in its $230,000 Red Kettle Campaign, having raised $77,000 so far to support vital programs for youth, families and seniors in Kootenai County. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Single mother Rhiannon received $1,687 in child care aid and $600 in food cards from the Press Christmas for All campaign to support her full-time work while finishing her NIC degree (after a 13-year custody battle). She now works as a paralegal and aims to become a lawyer. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Local nonprofits + community heroes unite to help families in need this holiday season in Post Falls. The program provides essential support and resources to residents as the holidays approach. KXLY
- ➤ Post Falls American Legion Post 143 launched the Be The One program at an Army-Navy game to help veterans by training people in suicide prevention.
