- ➤ A silent auction benefitting Birds of Prey Northwest will take place Jan. 4, 2026 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort beginning at 2:30 p.m., with raptor shows scheduled for 4 and 6 p.m. Winning bids will be announced at 5 p.m. (donations will be accepted at the door). Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Mr. North Idaho is a new charity pageant that will see 16 local gentlemen support nonprofits on Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Templin's on the River; contestants will perform unique talents + compete for prizes while raising funds toward a $100,000 goal. Coeur d'Alene Press
