If you've been waiting on Topgolf, it's moving. The company bought 11 acres along Interstate 90 in Liberty Lake in October for a planned 35,000-square-foot entertainment facility.

Topgolf's planned venue would cover 35,000 square feet

The price depends on the report. KXLY says the land sold for $4 million, but the seller's broker declined to give the Journal a figure, and Spokane County tax records don't list one.

  • Site: 21101 E. Country Vista Drive,
  • Location: northwest corner of a 27-acre parcel
  • Plan: split the parcel into nine, awaiting city approval
  • Contractor: ARCO/Murray National Construction Co.

Timing is the open question. Liberty Lake Mayor Cris Kaminskas told the Journal in October that the city must first approve the updated site plan, and grading permits could come by the end of this year or in 2027. KXLY says the city expected the building permit within two weeks.

Topgolf's Liberty Lake plans have moved step by step

  1. Nov. 2025Developers file building permit information for the proposed facility.
  2. JulyA surveyor submits an updated binding site plan splitting the parcel into nine.
  3. Oct. 28The land deal closes, KXLY reports.
  4. Year's endGrading permits could be issued by the end of 2026 or in 2027.
